Since 2009, Tak Kee Petroleum has been providing emergency fuel supply services to multiple commercial buildings and banks on Hong Kong Island. In collaboration with Sinopec, we also provided emergency fuel supply services covering all of Kowloon and the New Territories for CLP Power substations, as well as the first data center in the Tseung Kwan O Industrial Estate. Over the years, we have been standing side by side with our clients to address emergency fuel supply needs under a wide range of circumstances.

We have witnessed, together with our clients, the rapidly growing new era of market digitalization and high-speed information flow. In response to market demand, data centers have continued to grow exponentially over the past decade. With the requirements of supercomputing systems and equipment that demand high-volume data processing—such as 5G, AI (artificial intelligence), and cloud applications—a stable power supply is mostly critical. In the event of an unexpected or force majeure power outage, standby diesel generators serve as the backbone of temporary power supply for all data centers; and our 24/7 diesel replenishment service enables clients to respond with confidence whenever urgent diesel needs arise.

In anticipation of more stringent requirements related to environment protection and sustainability for buildings and data center infrastructure in the future, we began by upgrading our own fleet early on to vehicles compliant with EU Euro 6 standards. In our day-to-day operations, we also proactively support clients’ requirements to reduce carbon emissions throughout the fuel delivery process. In addition, our business team maintains close and timely communication with clients on matters such as diesel storage, testing, usage, and handling—working with frontline engineers, management personnel, and relevant consulting firms—to help clients select the right products and use them effectively, thereby achieving long-term business objectives of reducing emissions/waste and lowering costs, while continuously creating added value through our partnership.
